Chapel Memorial Care and Services (purely service only and distinct from total service) can have several variants.   This should be the  case, not bundled variants because:

            1.  The customer may have pre existing Life plans
            2.  The other funeral homes may not have superior chapel facilties
            3.   At the premier chapel we are benchmarking, the variants, value adding is in the chapel portion.
The IS, FS are price fixed services and much variation cant be had:
           4.  We can partner with flower shops and/or have staff take care of this, and have healthy
                 mark ups for value adding

The aspects that can have variants are:  (vs Funeral Service and Cremation Service)

          1.  Chapel Rooms

          2.  Food options

Finer points in cremation: keepsakes, cremation urns, jewelry - for a truly remarkable memorialization

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts, #HolyGardens, #crematorium,

As we continue the construction of the crematorium at Holy Gardens Greenhills (Calamba) and Holy Gardens Pangasinan, we are preparing hard to educate our staff and the public on cremation.

We have to build our learning curve on:  urns:  its type and uses, keepsakes, and cremation jewelry

These posts, videos from You Tube educate us on the finer points of memorialization from cremation.  This makes cremation desireable poetic and truly remarkable and memorable.

1.  Cremation memorial types:

1. Where to store the ashes
2.   Urns
3.   Cremation Jewelry

The cremation machine of Pangasinan was just delivered this October and the building the crematoriium is fast nearing completion.  We are familiaizing the  staff with the  pricing and how to sell this

Here are some of the videos from You Tube to further make our staff and public familiar with this new memorialization service

The trend now in USA is for cremation surpassing 50% of all total deceased in 2018.   Experts predict this to be maxing out at 70%.  Why are Americans shifting to cremation?

                  1.  It is cheap and affordable
                  2.  It saves land
                  3.  It is convenient;
                  4.  It is the trend

Will this catch on in the Philippines.  May be.  In MM the % is 40% because the traditional funeral service is expensive -  lowest P50,000.  Direct cremation would only be P20,000 with free urn (marble) included

In  2016, the  % of cremation to all ceremonies is mere 46.57 %;  now it is at 51%.  The saturation point will be in next 20 years will be probably at 70%.  It is more common with females, Asian, those who have higher income, and who are educated.

The reasons given is economy, second is it saves land, and third, it their preference.

Funeral homes have
1.  Decreased in number by 11%
2.  Decreased in profitability  (59% in the last 30 years)

Due to pressures from increasing demand of cremation

Spring 2012 NFDA Meet the Mentors - Musgrove Presentation from National Funeral Directors Association

Affordable cremation abroad costs $1,350  = P74,250  (direct cremation - ours is P20,000 only (excluding fuel surcharge)

Business Model For Cremation (Revised 2018) for Pangasinan

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts, #HolyGardens, #crematorium,

A.  Objectives:

1.To sell 300 cremation services (30) a month

2. To serve memorials  services of San Carlos City in view of stoppage of sales of memorial plots

3. To serve long term needs of memorialization of people of San Carlos elsewhere in view of low production of memorial park plots because of stringent requirements of govt for memorial park plots

4.  To alleviate shortage of burial grounds of the city for D and E constituents who can hardly afford a decent burial service

ie to provide affordable memorialization services

Background:

       1.  Remaining inventory of only 2,000 plots at Pangasinan.  Expansion
            difficult

       2.  Crowded public cemetery

       3.  Service area of say 1 M:   Dagupan, Urbiztondo, Malasiqui, Batista,  Santa Barbara
