Assistance to every Juan and very poor Juans

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts

One of the compelling reasons why we are into the Chapel and Memorial Service is MERCY AND COMPASSION FOR THE DEAD.  As the Holy Pope Francis mentioned in his visit to the Philippines last January 15 to 19, 2015, this is the kind of behavior that we should emulate from Jesus Christ:

From Bible alive

1.  He weeped when he his friend Lazarus died

2.  He weeped when a child died in a house he visited.

While the majority of the Filipinos are poor (40 to 50%) it is notable that cost of dying is high and getting higher too.  The attendance to the needs of the dead and dying is feasted by both the hospitals and funeral homes

Holy Gardens advocacy is to help arrest that trend to take advantage of the dying and dead by:

1.  having package for the indigent;

Body crypts for only P1,200 only per year lease (P6,000 per year;   plus indigent funeral package for only P12,000. for a total of P18,000.  Normal low end funeral service bc + casket is at the P50,000 level.

Free infant casket for those aged less than 3 months

2.  package for the masses (for every Juan)

P34,500.00 + BC (body crypt) of P10,000 (2,000 per year rental)

3.  reducing the profit motive for the poor (and even reducing or eliminating commission for agents for the poorest of the poor

4.  establishing help desk

We have directed our Finance office to set aside 5% of our gross profit for interment, chapel and memorial service to help the poorest of the poor brethren

We can tie up with the LGU which as program -  funeral l assistance to the poorest of the poor as in Calamba City

Customer Preferences for Memorial Services

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts

This office was able to access certain findings with regards to memorial services:

1.  The preferred services for funeral services are:

     1.  Availability of priest

     2.  Flowers

    3.  Band singers

    4.  Video recording (tributes)

    5.  Food catering

    6.  Interment in a memorial park

2. The ratio of cremation to burial is 30:70

3.  The driver for chapel use is pre need. The ratio is 3: (pre need) to need

4.  In the province the trend is home viewing,;  in the city it is chapel viewing.

Please program and give priority to these items in your interment service/funeral service

The Immaculate Heart of Mary designed by Dominic Galicia architect

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts

This video presentation gives us a an eyeview of the overall design concept of the outstanding and unique church in the Archdiocese of Antipolo.  The superb design albeit economical use of material, blending with nature, great ventilation, and light, and aura of grandeur makes for a great and handsome modern design church.  Great.

Why go into the chapel and memorial services?

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts

.  Why must we go into memorial services?

     1.  The heart and soul of memorialization of viewing of the body;  The total business that goes into casket is 70-80% of the total burial expenses.   Of all those who die, 80% who spend even P200,000 on caskets may be just buried at Catholic or municipal cemetery and yet says the memorial park plots are pricey.  But the best way to boast and honor the deceased is during viewing

     2.  The margins and earnings for casket is at least 30%

     3.  The cap ex is minimal

     4.  This is the natural flow of the business:   you have a plot, what else do you need. You are right:   interment service and memorial service.

     5.  When we go into this business, we are going to be winner:

         Why?

         1.  We have have assets to show to the buyers to inspire confidence;

         2.  We will not just be selling paper, but service and products that they can avail of anytime

Thus, this move is sowing fears into the hearts of other memorial homes (as Save More makes other retailers thinking of closing shop)

Two great chapels in Antipolo with columbarium

                        The exterior of the church

The interior of the Immaculate Concepcion; uses a lot of space frame and natural ventilation and lighting

Two great churches or chapels have been built during the last two years in Antipolo and they are unique.   They are something to be benchmarked even by those in the private for profit sector.  The two are:

1.  Transfiguration of Jesus Christ at M L Quezon near Mission Hills.  I learned of this during the wake of the father of kapadyak in biking.

2.  Immaculate Heart of Mary  in Taktak Road at Fairmont Hills Subd in Antipolo City too.  A friend told me of its existence.

Going to and fro these places honed my biking skills (if there is any)

The Taktak road is a great place to bike

Unique structure; uses a lot of steel frames

The canopy for the  church (will have creepers?)
