The Vatican has recently issued guidelines regarding the disposition of cremated remains:  they should not dispersed scattered at sea or nature, they should not be kept at home, or distributed among members of the family, shot into space or be made part of jewelry

The Vatican has maintained burial as the norm, but does not object to cremation since l963.

The Vatican holds the sacredness of the remains and the idea that when the resurrection of the dead comes, the remains of the dead are intact.

We have pending plans to put up two crematorium:   one in Pangasinan, the other one in Calamba. Wait for further announcement

Growing Need for Cremation in the Philippines

#ChapelMemorialService; #memorialexperts, #HolyGardens, #crematorium, #funeral services

This site sees cremation is the future of memorialization in the Philippines.  Why?

1.  The trend before was 70% traditional 30% cremation in MM;  now it is creeping up to  40% Why?
The church and the govt are not building enough interment areas for the masses.  Why, the land is
     expensive and limited

2.  There is a moratorium on land conversion authored by the current DAR secretary.  That means            less cemetery and memorial park

3.  It is environmental friendly.  The rotting carcass with formaline does not pollute land and water          supply

4.  It is light for the family.  The agony is over in an hour.   There is less reminder of Death

5. It is cheap (by 30%) compared to other forms of service and intermnet
